Rossen roundup: Top consumer stories from the past week
Rawson reports. Sharing our shopping do s and don't for October do shop end of season apparel. Let's talk about clothing first, right? What's coming up winter? So what stuff don't we need anymore? Short sleeve stuff. We don't need shorts, stuff like that. So what already these are on the clearance racks because these stores wanna get rid of all this stuff and they wanna move the winter stuff in. So they need to unload this for deep discounts here at Kohl's, for example, Cole's telling Lawson reports. Most of October nearly everything in the store is gonna be 20% off sometimes even more like the clearance like the clearance racks here. So buy the short sleeve stuff for next summer. Now, don't forget the candy and costumes do shop for Halloween if you're at Target, for example, major sales going on. Why? Because they see the clock ticking down to October 31st and guess what? On November 1st, we don't want Halloween stuff anymore so that the clock is ticking wait later in the month. Ok. For example, on the Target app, they have *** whole here comes Halloween section. You click on that and there are some great deals. That costume. It was 5999. Now, it's 24. Right. This was 49. Now, it's 26 Bogo Candy deals 50% off, 50% off, you know, two for $9. So, and that's early in the month. Just wait until we get *** little later. Round it up, do shop exclusive deals this month. Target circle week returns October 6th through the 12th. Amazon's prime day returns October 8th and ninth. And Walmart is running an early holiday sale, October 8th through the 13th. But there's one thing, experts all agree you shouldn't buy this month, do not shop for electronics, things like TV S laptops, uh the smart watches and stuff. I know it's tempting. You want it right now. Don't buy it this month because Black Friday Cyber Monday, that's when this stuff really goes on sale, not in October. So wait until after Thanksgiving and by the way, you may not even have to because the stores, the Teller Rossman reports, they're gonna start rolling these deals out earlier in November, but don't buy it in October. Better deals are coming. By the way, we're always sharing new deals in our Ross Reports newsletter. So make sure you're signing up. It comes straight to your inbox and it's free. The link to sign up is at Ross reports.com, tons of exclusive stuff back to you.
