The 2024 Paris Olympics are well underway, and several athletes with ties to the Tri-State area have already medaled in their respective sports.
Dozens of athletes with ties to the region are representing the USA in sports from swimming to cycling to fencing and more.
Here are the local athletes have brought home medals, so far, at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Athletes are listed alphabetically, by last name. *This is a working list, 바카라게임 will update as the games continue.
Hunter Armstrong, Swimming
The Ohio-native was part of a dominating victory for Team USA in the men's 4x100 freestyle relay.
The relay team earned a gold medal.

Sarah Bacon, Diving
Indianapolis-native Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook earned the first U.S. medals in Paris, taking home a silver in the women's synchro springboard

Chloe Dygert, Cycling
Indiana native Chloé Dygert has won her second medal of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, taking home the gold in the track cycling women's team pursuit.
Dygert, 27, is a native of Brownsburg, Ind., a suburb of Indianapolis. She now spends her time between her residence in Colorado Springs, Colo. and training in Boise, Idaho.
Dygert was part of the team that beat New Zealand in the final pursuit, with a time of 4:04.306. It's the first gold medal for the U.S. women in the event in Olympic history.
In winning silver, the Kiwis posted a time of 4:04.927.
Great Britain won Bronze, beating Italy by over two seconds.
Also on the team was Kristen Faulkner, who made headlines this past weekend when she won gold in the women's road race.
It's the third time Dygert has medaled in the discipline, winning bronze in 2020 and silver in 2016. It's her fourth Olympic medal of her career.
Dygert won her first medal of the Olympics in the women's cycling time trial, wining the bronze. She finished with a time of 41 minutes and 10 seconds, one minute and 32 seconds behind gold medalist Grace Brown, of Australia.
Annette Nneka Echikunwoke, Hammer throw
Former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Annette Nneka Echikunwoke has secured a silver medal in Paris.
Echikunwoke took second place with a season-best score of 75.48 in the women's hammer throw final.
Camryn Rogers finished first with a score of 76.97 and Jie Zhao finished third with a score of 74.27.
The 28-year-old is UC's third track and field athlete to win an Olympic medal, along with Mary Wineberg, David Payne. She's also the first U.S. woman to medal in the hammer throw event.
The only other American in the final, Deanna Price, finished in 11th place with a score of 71.00.
While at UC, Echikunwoke became the program's first ever national title, winning the 2017 NCAA Indoor Weight Throw title. She was an indoor runner up in 2018 and competed internationally in the 2022 world championships, finishing 12th in the hammer throw.
A dual citizen of the U.S. and Nigeria, Echikunwoke was named to the Nigerian Olympic team for the 2020 games in Tokyo, but was deemed ineligible to compete due to doping test protocol errors made by the African Federation of Nigeria.
She told reporters that after grieving the loss, she found peace, and trusted the process.

Echikunwoke qualified for the Olympic team by winning the hammer throw at the U.S. trials in June, throwing a season-best 74.68m, the third-best of her career.
Carson Foster, Swimming
Sycamore High School alum and Mason Manta Rays swimmer Carson Foster had an impressive run in Paris for his Olympic debut.
On Sunday, Foster won his first career Olympic medal in the 400m IM, finishing in third place and winning bronze. Then on Tuesday, Foster won his second medal as a member of the men's 4x200 freestyle relay, with the U.S. taking home silver.
Foster narrowly missed his third Olympic medal Friday in the 200-meter individual medley race in Paris, swimming against French star Leon Marchand in the race, finished fourth in the 200m IM, 0.10 seconds behind Shun Wang of China for third place.
Chris Guiliano, Swimming
Notre Dame grad Chris Guiliano has secured two Olympic medals in Paris.
Guiliano, who currently resides in Notre Dame, Indiana, was part of the dominating victory for Team USA in the men's 4x100 freestyle relay.
He went on to win a second Olympic medal after Team USA won silver in the 4x200 freestyle relay.
Cole Hocker, Track and Field
Indiana-native Cole Hocker pulled the upset of the Olympic track meet Tuesday night, outracing favorites Jakob Ingebrigsten and Josh Kerr to the finish line in the 1,500 meters.
Hocker won the race in an Olympic record 3 minutes, 27.65 seconds, pulling from fifth to first over the final 300 meters to beat his personal best by more than 3 seconds.
He beat Kerr by .14 seconds, while Ingebrigsten, who set the pace through the first 1200 meters, ended up in fourth behind American Yared Nuguse.
It was the first U.S. win in the metric mile since Matt Centrowitz took gold in 2016. This is the first time Americans put two men on the 1,500-meter podium since the Stockholm Games in 1912.
Max Holt, Volleyball
Cincinnati native Max Holt and the United States men's volleyball team won bronze Friday after beating Italy in the Paris Olympics.
Team USA beat Italy in three sets, 25-23, 30-28, 26-24.
Holt, a graduate of Purcell Marian, played in all three sets, scoring 11 points for the team.
The United States' men's volleyball team last medaled at the Olympics in 2016, when it won bronze in Rio. Prior to that, the team won gold during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, one of three gold medals that the Americans have won in the sport.
This is Holt's third Olympic games after previously being with the team during the 2016 Rio Games and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Rhyne Howard, Basketball
Hailey Van Lith, Basketball
Former Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball star Rhyne Howard won a bronze medal in 3x3 competition at the Paris Olympics on Monday.
The United States, led by Howard and former Louisville guard Hailey Van Lith, Germany defeated Spain 17-16 in the gold medal game.
Howard and the US went 4-3 in seven games during pool play, advancing to the semifinal before losing to Spain on Monday morning.

The 24-year-old Howard scored three points and grabbed two rebounds during the semifinal loss before scoring four points in the bronze medal game. Van Lith scored a combined 14 points over the two games Monday.
A four-year star at Kentucky, Howard was a three-time All-American, four-time All-SEC, and a three-time member of the All-SEC Tournament team during her time in Lexington.
After averaging 20.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game over four seasons at Kentucky, Howard was drafted first overall by the Atlanta Dream in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
In three seasons with the Dream, Howard won Rookie of the Year in 2022, has been a 2-time All-Star and has averaged more than 16 points per game.

Notre Dame alum Nick Itkin is taking home a bronze medal in the men's individual foil Monday.
Itkin, who was born in Los Angeles, graduated from Notre Dame in in 2022.
He defeated Japan's Kazuki Iimura 15-12 to win the bronze.
Drew Kibler, Swimming
Indiana-native Drew Kibler won silver with the men's 4x200 freestyle relay team.Team USA secured silver in the race, finishing just behind Great Britain, who took gold. Australia finished third, taking home bronze.Luke Hobson who already took bronze in the 200m freestyle, kicked off the relay for the team.Cincinnati-native Carson Foster carried the second leg of the race, Kibler took the third leg and Kieran Smith finished it off, anchoring the race for the relay team.Team USA finished at 7:00.78, just behind Great Britain who finished at 6:59.43. Australia, who took bronze, finished at 7:01.98.
Lee Kiefer, Fencing
The Kentucky fencer is now a three-time Olympic medalist after winning two gold medals in Paris.
Kiefer was part of the gold medal winning team for the United States in the women's team foil competition, beating Italy 45-39 in 9 rounds.
Kiefer, who was born in Ohio and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, made history during the Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first American to win an Olympic gold medal in individual foil. She defended that title earlier this week, defeating fellow American Lauren Scruggs in the individual gold medal match.
Scruggs was also part of the U.S. team Thursday, taking home her second medal of the games.
Kiefer still resides in Lexington, Kentucky, where she's studying medicine at the University of Kentucky. Prior to that, she attended undergrad at the University of Notre Dame, where she fenced.
Lily King, Swimming
Indiana-native Lily King is a 3-time Olympian and 6-time Olympic medalist. She captured her third gold medal in Paris in the women's 4 x 100m Medley Relay.
Joe Kovacs, Track and Field
A Pennsylvania native and current Ohio resident, won the silver medal in shot put on Day 8 at the Olympic Games.
Kovacs battled back from fourth place, making the medal-clinching throw on his final attempt. That was after a brief rain shower made the throwing surface slick, resulting in a couple throwers slipping and falling.
Despite the conditions, Kovacs went for broke and launched the shot 22.15 meters to win silver.

It's Kovacs' third Olympic medal. He also won silver at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Blake Pieroni, Swimming
Indiana-native Blake Pieroni retired from swimming in 2022, but came back to earn a spot at the Paris Olympics.
The 3-time Olympian is now a 4-time Olympic medalist, winning silver in the men's 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay.
Rajeev Ram, Tennis
Indiana-native Rajeev Ram is a 3-time Olympian and 2-time Olympic medalist.
Ram captured silver medal in the Paris Olympics in men's doubles.
