FAO firefighter Daryl Gordon is being remembered by his friends as a person who was a hard worker and who loved to serve others.

Favors said he, and Gordon went to Princeton High School together and graduated in 1979. They played football together and wound up at Ball State, where they were members of the same fraternity. Gordon was a groomsman in Favors바카라 게임 웹사이트 wedding.
Favors said Gordon had an infectious laugh and personality.
"When you meet Daryl, you like him from the initial meeting, but then once you get to know him you just end up really loving him. I don't know anybody who doesn't love Daryl,바카라 게임 웹사이트 Favors said.
Favors said Gordon worked as a volunteer firefighter in Woodlawn during college. He was a hard worker who took on several jobs, and even though it was looming on the horizon, he never talked about retirement.
"He loved being around people, he loved serving people, he liked helping," Favors said.
Favors said when he heard the news Thursday that a firefighter died he had a difficult time believing it could be Gordon. Then he said it hit him so hard he couldn't share his condolences.
"I couldn't get off the couch yesterday I was so broken up, I could not even bring myself to call or go over there. Today I'm going over there to sit down with Angie, and the girls and whoever else is over there," Favors said.
Favors said he hopes people remember Gordon's wife and daughters.
"He's got two college-age daughters, and they're going to be without their breadwinner and you heard me say he's always worked, so they're going to really miss him and probably miss his income," Favors said.
Favors said the best thing people can do to support Gordon바카라 게임 웹사이트s family is to donate to the memorial fund. He said beyond that, remember his smile, his laugh and his giving heart.
There is a memorial fund set up through Kemba Credit Union. Donations will benefit the Gordon family.
