One community in Fort Smith, Ark. hopes to transform an apartment complex into a housing project just for people on the autism spectrum.
All parents know that eventually, their children will grow up and want to leave the nest. For young adults on the spectrum, independence can sometimes be a bit more of a challenge. The community hopes to give them a chance to do that while easing some of the fears of protective parents.
