The New York Post that there are a bunch of other goodies in the sale, like a stormtrooper helmet (projected to sell in neighborhood of $80,000) and Anakin's lightsaber from "Revenge of the Sith," which is valued around $130,000.
The jacket is a pretty fascinating piece. It doesn't have any fasteners because it was designed to be worn open. Director George Lucas didn't want visible fasteners on any of the "Star Wars" costumes because he thought they were too close to contemporary earthbound styles.
It's also a gray-blue color that doesn't match the one you see on screen in "Empire." That's because blues tend to show up darker on film; to get the navy color in the movie, you have to have the lighter color in real life.
