The Harvest Moon is a beautiful marker of fall
You may be wondering what all the fuss over the Harvest Moon is about. Although fall officially began on September 22, the first full moon of fall, known as the Harvest Moon, didn't arrive until September 24. Due to how low it appears in the sky, the Harvest Moon got its name because how much it illuminated crops during the harvest season. However, farmer or not, this is definitely something to behold.
