A Washington state patrol trooper recently went above and beyond the call of duty to help rescue some ducklings from an interstate median in Tacoma.Washington State Patrol posted a video of the April 21 encounter.The trooper got creative and used the lid of a storage bin to safely carry the three ducklings across the highway while an employee of the Washington Department of Transportation watched for traffic.The ducklings' mother was anxiously waiting for them and the family had a safe and happy reunion.Watch the rescue in the video player above
