The 'Stranger Things' cast have been given a serious pay rise

Millie Bobby Brown supposedly secured the biggest deal

The cast of Stranger Things have reportedly received a hefty pay rise as they head towards the show's third season.During the first and second series of the Netflix series, Finn Wolfhard (14), Millie Bobby Brown (14), Gaten Matarazzo (15) and Caleb McLaughlin (16) allegedly took home $30,000 per episode, but that figure has increased hugely for the boys, following recent negotiations which will take their pay check to an alleged $250,000 per episode. However, Millie Bobby Brown - the show's breakout star - is rumored to receive substantially more.According to The Hollywood Reporter, there are three pay tiers for the cast. Winona Ryder (Joyce) and David Harbour (Jim Hopper) are in the top tier with reported earnings of $350,000 per episode, while the four boys fall into the second tier collecting $250,000 per episode. The C tier actors comprise on-screen teenagers Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan) and Joe Keery (Steve), who take home roughly $150,000 an episode. What's less certain is which category Brown falls into. Last year, it was reported that the 14-year-old was earning $250,00 per episode, but some speculate that she has since been placed in the top pay tier - a decision that has allegedly had mixed reactions, given how little experience she has in comparison to Ryder and Harbour. Other reports claim that the star has been given her own tier, putting her at $300,000 an episode. Since its release in 2016, Stranger Things has become a surprise hit, with numerous Emmy nominations and multiple merchandise lines. Its third season will hopefully launch later this year, with rumors circulating fans may be waiting until 2019 for the latest episodes. For more on the third season of Stranger Things, check out the video above.
