In January, 16-year-old Katie Hoskins was diagnosed with cancer after recovering from a lung transplant in 2022. Sister station KETV first met Katie in 2022 when she was diagnosed with PVOD, a rare lung disease. Less than two weeks after the initial story aired, Katie learned she would be able to get a life-saving lung transplant.
