Introducing the Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato and Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato
With the change of the seasons comes the change of your morning Starbucks order.
Fall is for Pumpkin Spice Lattes, winter is for mochas and summer is clearly Frappuccino season. Spring, however, can be a bit of a mess. One day, you need something hot; the next, something cold. And, for that reason, Starbucks wants your spring signature to be macchiatos, which are delicious hot or cold.
Starting tomorrow, you can get either the Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato or the Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato, which will be available all season.
The Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato is made with espresso, Almondmilk, and sweet cinnamon dolce syrup. Then it's topped with a caramel cross-hatch and a sprinkle of cinnamon dolce.
The Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato was introduced as an iced drink last summer, but now they're bringing it back hot. Espresso shots are poured over coconut milk and combined with a hint of white chocolate mocha sauce. The drink is topped with caramel sauce and a swirl of mocha sauce to make five layers of deliciousness.
And, of course, you can get both drinks hot or cold. This should make the inconsistency that is spring weather a bit more tolerable.
