Rossen Reports: Why you바카라 게임 웹사이트™re getting spam texts from yourself
Hey, welcome to Rawson in 60. Getting spam text from your own phone number. I have an update on why it's happening and what's being done to stop it. All I need is 60 seconds or less. Let's start the clock right up there. Several of you have reached out saying you're getting weird texts from your own number and you know, you're not texting yourself so you're not sure what it's about, Verizon says, yeah, it's been happening to its customers. Here's the text right here. It says free message colon. Your bill is paid for March. Thanks. Here's a little gift for you. And then it has this link right over here, Verizon says it's a spam text. It's not from the carrier right now. It's working with law enforcement to figure out the source. And working to block those texts. Just remember, do not click on any links you don't recognize ever. Especially from this because we know it's fake. It's not from Verizon. Okay, don't click on it. And that's all for now. Back to you.

Verizon customers across the country are reporting getting strange text messages from their own phone numbers. The text says, "Free Msg: Your bill is paid for March. Thanks 바카라 게임 웹사이트“ here's a little gift for you." This is followed by a link. But you've probably guessed it: This is a spam text. It's NOT from the carrier.Rossen Reports reached out to Verizon about the issue.A representative told us, "As part of a recent fraud scheme, bad actors have been sending text messages to some Verizon customers which appear to come from the customers' own number. Our company has significantly curtailed this current activity, but virtually all wireless providers have faced similar fraudulent activity in recent months. We are actively working with others in our industry and with U.S. Law Enforcement as part of an investigation aimed at identifying and stopping these fraudsters and their illegal actions, and we will continue this work on behalf of our customers. We have no indication of any Russian involvement."Just remember, if you don't recognize the link, don't click on one that's sent to you, even if it IS from your own phone number!
