Randy Sewick never thought he'd see his father's 1949 Dodge Coronet again.The car belonged to his dad, Ray, who sold it in 1990."I hadn't seen the car since the weekend that it'd left," Randy said.Ray Sewick died in 2011, and Randy admits he hadn't thought much about the car since then, until he was tagged in a Facebook post saying a blue '49 Dodge was for sale in Nebraska.When Randy saw the photo for the bill of sale for the car, he headed straight for his mother, Emmy's, house."I showed it to her and she got a big old smile on her face," Randy said. "But then she teared up because she knew. She said, 'That's Dad's handwriting.' I said, 'Yeah Mom, that's Dad's car.' So, pretty cool."Randy bought the car and celebrated by going for a drive with his mother, going past all the spots in town that his father loved, and reminiscing about the man both of them loved dearly."Dad would be so proud to think that his car is back in the family," Emmy Sewick said.
