Royal wedding guests are selling their goody bags

One bag's bids are up to $67,000

Lucky members of the public who were invited to the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the weekend were sent home with a goody bag to mark the historic event they attended. However, just a matter of days later, some of those gift bags have already ended up being auctioned online. The bags, which were given to those invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle, reportedly featured an order of service, a large chocolate coin with the couple바카라 게임 웹사이트s initials embossed, shortbread, a fridge magnet, bottle of water and a voucher for 20% off the Middle Ward gift shop in Windsor. The blue and beige tote bags were also monogrammed with the couple바카라 게임 웹사이트s initials. So far, a number have been spotted on eBay. One bag, which the seller advertises as buying "a piece of history and memorabilia to celebrate a momentous special day for Britain and the royal family," is currently at $483 while another is going for over $67,000. However, while people might assume all sellers are looking for some extra cash for themselves, at least two of the sellers have noted that all proceeds of the sale will be going to charity, and these are the people currently seeing pretty hefty bids for their memorabilia. One bag was auctioned at about $1,300, the other has been taken down but is expected to be re-posted. A goody bag wasn't all the guests got, however. The 600 people invited to the lunchtime reception feasted on canapés including Scottish langoustines wrapped in smoked salmon, tomato and basil tartare with balsamic pearls, and warm asparagus spears with mozzarella and tomatoes, before eating trendy bowl food of slow-roasted pork belly and pea and mint risotto.
