We're saving you major cash this holiday season, cracking price tag codes. If you look closely, they have secret signs, that'll tell you how much you're really saving. Retailers usually mark items down in stages here at Target. For example, they start at 15% then they go to 30% then they go to 50% all the way up to 70%. Right? And here's *** little trick for, come on over here, look at them and grab one of these clearance items. Ok? Look for, they're yellow, sometimes they're red. Sometimes you see that tiny little number right there. Can you see it? We're gonna zoom in it says 50 right? That means it's 50% off right now. So you can make *** decision. Ok? Well, if this is low, if this is only 15, let me hold for *** minute, it's gonna keep going up, but this is 50%. So you grab it probably at TJ Maxx at Marshall's. Pay attention to the price tag colors. You never really know if you're getting *** sale price here because the prices are all pretty good. But there is *** way to know based on the color of the tag. So here where TJ Maxx white tag means regular price. Ok. Now come down the line with me *** little bit right over here. If you see *** red tag like this, if the tag is red, that means it's the clearance price but guess what? It gets even better. And this *** yellow tag and this store actually doesn't have any. That means final clearance. Yellow tag means final clearance. And again, everything's sold out here in yellow because it goes fast. So look for the yellow tag. Want one more secret tip from TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Oh, here you go. If you're really looking for the biggest clearance events shop, the J months, January and July, they have the best sales in store and online and finally check the price tags for dates here at Walmart. They drop the price on clearance items about once *** month. So what you can do is check the, uh, check the tag and right at the bottom, it's gonna give that date. You see that says July 2023 right? Ok. That's how, you know you're in the money. They'll keep dropping the price once *** month until the thing sells, but at some point they can't drop the price anymore. So they'll just let it sit. That's how, you know you're getting the best deal. They haven't had *** price drop since July. That's the lowest this is gonna get. Look at what I saw on this one. Come on in here. Can you see that tiny little there? That's May 2023. So, you know, this is the lowest this is gonna go. So wait until it's been *** few months. That's how you know, you're getting the best price. Here's one more tip. Sometimes just asking *** store employee can give you some insight, ask when they usually start marking items down for sale.
