A Hamilton County judge ruled no bond will be issued for the man accused of running into and killing a sheriff's deputy last week near the University of Cincinnati바카라 게임 웹사이트™s campus.
In a bond hearing Tuesday morning, judge Tyrone Yates did not issue a bond for Rodney Hinton Jr., who has been charged with aggravated murder.
Investigators said Hinton intentionally ran over recently retired deputy Larry Henderson, who later died at UC Medical Center.
During the hearing, prosecutors laid out a timeline of events that led up to Hinton allegedly hitting and killing the deputy.
At 9:30 a.m. Friday, Cincinnati police officer Carl Beebe said Hinton arrived at the Cincinnati Police Criminal Investigation Section바카라 게임 웹사이트™s headquarters to watch bodycam video that showed his son, 18-year-old Ryan Hinton, being shot and killed by police last Thursday.
At 10:30 a.m., Hinton left the CIS, with family members driving Hinton because he was too distraught, police said.
At 12:40 p.m., police said Hinton returned to CIS parking lot to get his car and left the lot, before briefly returning at 12:45 p.m.
At 12:50 p.m., CPD said Hinton left the CIS lot again, drove to Clifton and went northbound on Clifton Avenue towards Martin Luther King Drive.
Meanwhile, Henderson was standing at a control box to cycle traffic lights for UC바카라 게임 웹사이트™s graduation ceremony.
Investigators said that around 1 p.m., Hinton went left off the road markers, drove through the intersection and hit Henderson and a utility pole. Beebe said Hinton did not try to deviate from the path.
Footage at the intersection exists, Beebe said, with a mounted camera showing the aftermath. Bus video captured the crash itself, as well as officers speaking with witnesses in the area.
Hinton's attorney, Clyde Bennett, entered a not guilty plea on his behalf at the outset of the hearing.
