Thousands of homes remain without power after severe storms hit the Greater Cincinnati area Sunday night.At one point Sunday, at least 8,000 different outages were recorded throughout our area on Duke Energy's Outage Map.As of 5:58 a.m. Monday, that number has fallen to 1,000, with a majority of those outages being reported in Warren and Butler counties.Areas in Hamilton County, such as Blue Ash and Westwood, are seeing outages as well. Greater Cincinnati remained under a Tornado Watch until 1 a.m.It isn't just power outages that are a problem: Downed power lines across those areas are an additional hazard many are waking up to, along with debris in the form of downed trees or housing metal in trees.Route 22 in Roachester is shut down due to downed powerlines, one of just several roadways across Greater Cincinnati that are closed off ahead of the Monday morning commute.
