As the first playoff games get underway this weekend, the Cincinnati Bengals will unfortunately not be one of the participating teams playing within them this year. The team finished with a 9-8 record, just narrowly missing the postseason after managing to turn their season around in its second half after a disastrous start full of repeated losses. Now, as the team enters the off-season, there is plenty of time for the team to evaluate what went wrong and make strategy, roster and staffing changes accordingly.

However, amid the debate, there is at least one thing that all Bengals fans can agree did not go wrong this season: Joe Burrow's pregame outfits. They became famous worldwide, and spawned no lack of Internet buzz, memes and impersonations among fans throughout the season. If there was any dispute before, his surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week perhaps cemented his status as a globally-recognized fashion icon to be reckoned with in 2024. And here in Cincinnati, the amount of people who showed up in outfits mimicking his pregame fits in December's Joe Burrow lookalike contest on Fountain Square would seem to indicate that fans too know Burrow to be just as comfortable in sunglasses and designer suits as he is in a football helmet and pads.
