The victims of the New Orleans terror attack were honored before the Super Bowl with a powerful performance by Lady Gaga. The performance was recorded on Bourbon Street. Lady Gaga sat at a piano surrounded by New Orleans Police Department officers, New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson, NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick, legendary Louisiana quarterback Terry Bradshaw, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and NFL greats Howie Long, Jim Johnson, Andrew Whitworth, Demario Davis, Tom Brady, Michael Strahan and Sean Payton. All were wearing "NOLA Strong" shirts. Lady Gaga sang "Hold My Hand" with a choir behind her.The performance memorialized the 14 people killed and 57 others injured in the New Year's Day terror attack. The Super Bowl's security was heightened following the attack.
