While Mason jars may be useful, people on Twitter recently started hating on them—particularly when used for making Mason jar salads—and they did not hold back.While we agree that it's hard to eat salad out of a Mason jar, it's recommended to use them as a leak-proof way to get your salad to work and then mix it all up in a bowl and eat it that way at your desk.But the Twitterverse also decided to tear apart using a Mason jar as a drinking glass, as well.While we'd never recommend drinking a warm beverage on a bus or train out of a wide-mouthed container like a Mason jar because of how easy it is to spill it, there are handy drinking lids that attach to Mason jars. Now, isn't that practical?
