'Making a Murderer, Part 2' premiere date revealed

'Making a Murderer, Part 2' premiere date revealed
The second installment of the Netflix docu-series "Making a Murderer," which chronicles the the cases of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey, will debut Oct. 19 on the streaming service.Avery and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, are serving life sentences for the murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005. Both have long proclaimed their innocence.Halbach's remains were found in the Avery family's Manitowoc County salvage yard. Avery insists police framed him. Dassey has argued detectives coerced him into confessing that he helped Avery rape and kill Halbach.The documentary won Avery and Dassey legions of fans across the country and spurred demands for their release.The sequel will follow their appeals.
