Starting on September 1, the festival is marked by six weekends of drinking, dancing, and concerts filled with hopeful singles looking for The One. According to the festival's website, the weekend events offer "endless opportunities to get together and meet people." Apart from the pubs and parties, the main attraction is famed matchmaker Willie Daly. The local "love doctor" has been offering consultations for 45 years, and he estimates he's set up nearly 3,000 marriages. Willie is confident in his powers: He claims that if visitors touch his "Lucky Book"of old dating profiles, they will find a partner within six months.An appointment with the popular matchmaker can be tough to come by, however.
