The park will also be making a splash this season, with its new River Racers water coaster.
It's the first and only dual-racing water coaster in the state.
The ride will have racers board side-by-side rafts at the starting line, where they are launched down the first drop at speeds up to 30 mph.
The coaster is currently under construction, set to open during Memorial Day weekend.
Also new this season are various food options to try.
New offerings include a chocolate mousse waffle, bananas foster, beignets and churro mousse, with most available at the park's Sweet Spot shop.
At Snoopy Grill, new offerings include more options for the kids, including sliders and mini corn dogs.
And at Coney BBQ, where BBQ rules, a new smoker will offer new options like burnt ends.
Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Kings Island without blue ice cream. This year, in addition to the classic treat, they're offering a new candy inspired by the blue dessert.
The popular blue ice cream will now be offered in a freeze-dried form.
The unique new dessert comes from the mind of a teen entrepreneur.
Freezin' with Aubrie partnered with Kings Island to offer her freeze-dried treats starting opening weekend.
