Despite rumors that she was on-board with the production, Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland's oldest child, does not approve of the forthcoming biopic "Judy" about the "Wizard of Oz" actress's life, which stars Renée Zellweger.
"I have never met nor spoken to Renée Zellweger," she said in response to an article in Radar Online, which claimed the pair was bonding. The article has since been taken down.

Written by Tom Edge, who is known for penning "," the biopic will focus on the last year of Garland's life, specifically her performances in London in the winter of 1968.

She died in 1959 at 47 from a barbiturate overdose after a long struggle with substance abuse.
A timeline for the release of the film has yet to be shared publicly; filming reportedly started in England in February.
