Indiana to opt out of federal program providing food assistance to children during summertime months
The state of Indiana will no longer be enrolled in a federal program offering grocery assistance to low-income families during summer months.The program, called SUN Bucks, is available as financial assistance to those whose families already receive programs such as SNAP or TANF.According to the USDA, low-income families enrolled in such programs are typically automatically enrolled in such programs, which provide the families $150 per month in grocery assistance.However, the added benefit is dependent on which state residents live in, and whether that state has opted in to receive the benefit.The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration released a statement explaining why the state will no longer be facilitating the benefit, saying, 바카라 게임 웹사이트When this administration took office, we discovered that the necessary groundwork had not been completed to launch the program in time for this summer.
