Say what you will about Halloween movies, but Hocus Pocus is a classic that we will watch every single year (and probably multiple times at that). As we get ready to kick off Halloween season, we're taking a moment to revisit the classic film by checking up on where two of its child stars are now. Fans of the movie will remember Thackery and Emily Binx as the brother and sister who set the events of the film in motion in the 1600s in Salem, Massachusetts. The actors themselves get little face time (that's all we'll say by way of spoilers), but are the cause of some of the most heart-wrenching scenes of the film. Sean Murray, who played Thackery, was 16 at the time of the film's release. Now 38, the actor has been on NCIS since 2003. Prior to that, he made appearances on JAG, Boston Public, and Touched by an Angel. Amanda Shepherd, who played Emily, has stayed largely out of the spotlight. In an interview with Cosmopolitan last year, she revealed that she is now a real estate agent in Malibu, California. "Surprisingly, people do recognize me still," she told Cosmo. "I don't know if it's because of the look, I doubt that, I think it's because they know somebody who knows me.
