Glendale honors, remembers fallen firefighter Daryl Gordon

Fallen Cincinnati firefighter Daryl Gordon was honored in a memorial service Saturday.
Gordon died in the line of duty on March 26 in an apartment fire in Madisonville.
Organizers said the memorial service was about honoring Gordon as a family man, neighbor and friend.
The service was held in Glendale, where Gordon lived with his family.
Gordon was a firefighter in Cincinnati for 30 years.
Cincinnati fire chief and fellow firefighters were on hand Saturday for the memorial service.

"For all of their kind words and condolence cards, I want to say thank you to the citizens of Glendale and Cincinnati to my wonderful neighbors on Washington Avenue, the Gordon girls love you dearly and you guys are the best neighbors in the world to us," Angela Gordon said.
The village of Glendale also dedicated a plaque to honor Gordon's legacy.
