A husband and wife from Park Hill in Louisville, Kentucky, are hoping to change the scope of the neighborhood by investing time and care into the next generation.
Ernest and Que Sidney founded the Louisville Steelers, a youth football team that gives kids a chance to focus on sports instead of the stress of their everyday lives. Ernest, known as "Coach Zig" to the kids, grew up in the neighborhood and is a convicted felon. However, his goal is to prevent kids from making the same mistakes he did.
Park Hill is known for its high crime rate and police activity, and the Sidneys are hoping to change that by teaching kids to avoid a life of crime and focus on positive outlets, like football.
