Ed Sheeran has been hit with a $100 million lawsuit, TMZ reports, which claims he ripped off the Marvin Gaye song "Let's Get It On." A lawsuit filed last week in 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York alleges that Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" uses 바카라 게임 웹사이트œsame melody, rhythms, harmonies, drums, bassline, backing chorus, tempo, syncopation and looping" as the Gaye classic. The suit was filed by Structured Asset Sales, which owns a piece of the copyright.A similar suit was filed in 2016 by heirs of Edward Townsend, who co-wrote "Let's Get It On" with Gaye. As TMZ reports, Structured Asset Sales has owned one-third share of the copyright wince Townsend's death in 2003. He called those allegations "baseless" earlier this year and said the chord progressions and drum patterns are "extremely commonplace."Sheeran has yet to respond to the new lawsuit. "Thinking Out Loud" appeared on Sheeran's album "X," which has sold more than 15 million copies. The track itself has been streamed on YouTube alone more than a billion times.Sheeran was also sued after being accused of copyright for the song "The Rest of Our Life," which he co-wrote for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Songwriters Sean Carey and Beau Golden said Sheeran stole the melody from "When I Found You," which they wrote for Jasmine Rae.
