We already know the most efficient and sight-packed route to drive to see all the continental states, but what if you only wanted to focus on seeing the most beautiful nature in America? A map for that exists now, too.
Randy Olson, senior data scientist at the University of Pennsylvania, who previously figured out the best road trip route in America, determined the best path to see all 47 national parks in the continental U.S., according to . Making your way from coast to coast to see everything from the stunning Olympic National Park mountains in Washington to the wildlife-packed Everglades in Florida has never been more simple.
The trip does not include the 12 parks in Alaska and Hawaii but, trust us, there's still plenty to see. The entire trip covers 14,498 miles and would take around two months to complete, according to Olson.
Olson used a Python API program to compute the drive, but you certainly don't have to be a scientist to figure one out for yourself. He recommended as an alternative.
