Girl from 'Dance Moms' brought to tears by Abby Lee Miller's prison sentence
Sarah Hunt and her mother, Christy, say they owe everything to Abby Lee Miller, who helped get the 11-year-old girl on the "Dance Moms" reality show. They went to the federal courthouse in Pittsburgh on Tuesday to support Miller, who was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for bankruptcy fraud and for taking $120,000 worth of Australian currency into the country without reporting it. "It's heartbreaking," Sarah said as she began to cry. "She's done everything for me." Christy Hunt called Miller "the most extraordinary person we ever got to work with and know." She said that she and her daughter went to court on behalf of "all the moms and children out there that know the real Abby Lee Miller." Hunt added, "I don't necessarily think that justice was served. I don't think that she should spend a day in jail."
