"Ghostbusters" actor Dan Aykroyd shared his fondness for deceased "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher in a heartfelt letter for London magazine Empire. The two were in a romantic relationship until Fisher married singer Paul Simon.
The pair met for the first time in 1978, when Fisher hosted "Saturday Night Live" and Aykroyd was a regular castmember. They began dating during the filming of 1980 comedy "Blues Brothers.
Aykroyd recalled the events leading up to Fisher's marriage to Simon in 1983.
"The romantic relationship ended the weekend of our final evacuation from Chicago by Lear 24 with Judy and John Belushi to our homes in Martha바카라 게임 웹사이트s Vineyard," he said. "The next morning she asked me to drive her to the airport and she flew to New York. Architectural reservations notwithstanding, Carrie wasn바카라 게임 웹사이트t shallow, we had a great time. Aykroyd also spent time with Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds. Reynolds passed away on Dec. 28 - one day after Fisher.

Fisher died from cardiac arrest on Dec. 27.
She had a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Dec. 23. She died at age 60 at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, according to her death certificate.
