ICE charges federal employee for child sex crimes, believes there are more victims
Special agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have arrested a Cincinnati man accused of sexually exploiting children.
Investigators say Jonathan Travis Mackey, 46, exploited victims both in person and online. Officials say he used two usernames: 바카라 게임 웹사이트john370000#0바카라 게임 웹사이트 and 바카라 게임 웹사이트johnm1861#0".
According to court records, Mackey sent and received sexually explicit messages and images with a minor.
Investigators with Ohio's Internet Crimes Against Children say they first identified Mackey as a suspect in January. Court documents show Mackey allegedly exchanged messages with a 13-year-old girl in September 2022 on the Discord app. In the messages, investigators say Mackey exchanged sexually explicit images with the girl and asked to meet her in person.
They say in other exchanges from February 2024 to about November 2024, Mackey and an individual named "Loli" chatted in detail about the sexual abuse of minors, including Loli's daughters.
A warrant was served on Mackey's home on Arrowhead Trail in Loveland on Feb. 10, and his electronic devices were seized.
There is no word on why ICE was involved in the arrest.
Officials say Mackey held a "position of public trust" as an employee of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Agents are looking to identify any other victims in this case.
