There's something very wrong with the new Caramel M&Ms packaging

Once you find it, you can't unsee it

M&M's sparked a sugar frenzy this past November when word got out that its latest treat would be like a candy-coated Rolo — even though the sweets weren't set to hit stores for a full six months. The news was covered worldwide and started trending on Facebook, as people posted their questions, excitement, and pleas surrounding the new flavor. But, in that enthusiasm, we all missed something big about the packaging. Something so unsettling it's downright alarming. Something that, once you spot it, you really can't unsee. Here, take a close look: Does anything look out of the ordinary to you? Nothing a little strange? Or mildly disturbing? Let's take an even closer look: There. Right there. Red and Yellow, two M&Ms we've known and loved for years, are straight-up tearing apart their orange friend — and they have the audacity to display such savagery right on the front of their bag! It's like when King Joffrey put the heads of anyone who challenged his authority on spikes in Game of Thrones. Red and Yellow look almost gleeful as they send a warning shot to any other M&M creation who dares to infringe on their spotlight. How ruthless. Even in the first commercial, the original M&Ms throw some serious shade at the new kid on the block. "But he's so boring," Blue says, while tapping away at his phone. "I'm yawning just talking about him," Red replies. Regina George has nothing on these candies. It's an M&M-eat-M&M world out there.
