Following the tragic shooting in Las Vegas that killed at least 59 people and injured 527, the red carpet at the "Blade Runner 2049" premiere has been canceled.
The premiere will still take place on Tuesday, October 3 at Hollywood's Dolby Theater, but in a scaled back form.
quotes a Warner Bros spokesperson as saying: "In light of the tragic events of last night, Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Alcon Entertainment are canceling the red carpet for tomorrow's screening of "Blade Runner 2049." We join the rest of the country in sending heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this tragedy."
"Blade Runner 2049" will be be released in theaters on Friday, October 6.
