Black History Month Panel on Black Wellness and Black Resistance
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
Thursday, Feb. 2, 6 p.m.
The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is kicking off Black History Month with a paired panel exploring Black health and wellness and Black resistance. The panel will feature a lineup of medical, community and educational experts to discuss the realities of wellness within the Black community and the continued legacy of Black resistance from the era of the Underground Railroad to today.
Gallery Chat with ASL Interpretation: Black Art History
Cincinnati Art Museum
Saturday, Feb. 11, 2 p.m.
Join museum educators this month to learn about Black art history and culture. Explore works by artists including Kehinde Wiley and Henry Ossawa Tanner. A facilitator and a certified American Sign Language interpreter will meet visitors at the front desk for a tour through the galleries and a lively discussion about the art they see.

Celebrating Black STEAM

HBCU Youth-led Roundtable

Walnut Hills Branch Library
A roundtable discussion of the unique perspective provided by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HCBUs). Alumni and current and prospective students speak on the interests, outcomes, and challenges of attending an HBCU. Presented by the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
