President Biden condemns 'despicable' New Orleans terror attack
President Joe Biden said Wednesday evening that the FBI found that a man driving the pickup truck used in a deadly attack in New Orleans recorded videos hours before the attack.

Biden said that in recordings, the suspect said he was inspired by the Islamic State group and expressed a "desire to kill."
The president said the investigation remained fluid.

The attack is the latest example of a vehicle being used as a weapon to carry out mass violence and the deadliest IS-inspired assault on U.S. soil in years.
During his remarks, Biden thanked first responders and law enforcement personnel who responded to the attack.
He said first responders and law enforcement "stopped the attacker in his tracks before he could kill or injure even more people."
"I want to (say) thank you to everyone at the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, including the FBI for working nonstop to investigate this heinous act," Biden said.
