Pike County murder investigators are asking for information on four people, Attorney General Mike DeWine's office said Monday.
Eight members of the Rhoden family were found dead in April 2016 in four homes in Pike County. Now, investigators are asking for help solving the case of the execution-style killings.
A friend of the Rhoden family said it's been aggravating waiting and wondering if the case will ever be solved.
Now, she's hopeful investigators are getting closer.
"Everybody's just, you know, is it going to be solved? It's been a long time and there's been a lot of doubts," Sally McDaniel said.
The attorney general's office asked for information regarding four individuals: George "Billy" Wagner III, 46; Angela Wagner, 46; George Wagner IV, 25; and Edward "Jake" Wagner, 24.
All four are former residents on Peterson Road in Peebles, Ohio, and are believed to be residing in Alaska, the AG's office said.
Investigators have not specified their involvement in the case.
According to a news release from the AG's office, "Investigators are interested in receiving information regarding any interactions, conversations, dealings, or transactions that the public may have had with these individuals, which could be personal, business, or otherwise. Specifically, information could include, but is not limited to, information regarding vehicles, firearms and ammunition."
McDaniel said she can't imagine what it has been like for the Rhoden family.
"I just hope it's solved soon so everyone, you know, can have some peace," McDaniel said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pike County Sheriff's Office at 740-947-2111.
