'Adulting Day' at one high school teaches teens to change tire, cook
Adulting can be hard.
And now, a group of Kentucky high school students have a better understanding of what their parents likely deal with daily.
Seniors at Bullitt Central High School in Shepherdsville skipped the usual science, social studies and English classes for a taste of what it's like to be an adult, .
Students learned how to change a tire, pay bills and cook.
Christy Hardin, the director of the school's Family Resource & Youth Services Center, said she came up with the idea after seeing Facebook posts suggesting students need to learn more real-life experiences in school.
