Three restaurant and bar professionals from the Cincinnati area have been named semifinalists for the James Beard 2025 Restaurant and Chef Awards.The awards are considered to be among the country's most prestigious honors when it comes to talent in the culinary and food media industries. It also recognizes commitment to racial and gender equity, community and sustainability. Winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards Ceremony on June 16 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.The awards were established in 1990 and were first given out in 1991.The awards are celebrated across 25 categories.In this year's awards, three Cincinnati chefs and bar professionals are being recognized as semifinalists:Jordan Anthony-Brown, The ApertureDavid Jackman, WildweedMike Stankovich, LongfellowTo see the full list, click here
